How to Make a L.A. Thankful Cell Phone Tower Tree

It’s that time of year again when we come together and express our thankfulness together by chowing and watching football. I love it. I designed a unique L.A. Thankful Tree that is a actually a disguised cell phone tower. I put the template for it here. If you are looking for something to do today, print it out and get these supplies:
1) pins
2)  9″ x 12″ sheets of felt in Autumny colors (yellow, orange, oatmeal, brown, light brown, orange, dark orange, maroon, dark brown – you know what I mean)
3) Glue

First thing you do is cut up your print out and pin the pieces to each color of felt. Then cut these pieces out. Once you get all these pieces cut out, start placing them on the dark orange piece of felt so they look like the Thanksgiving Palm Tree below:

As your putting the pieces together now is a good time to be thankful for your cell phone service. Seriously, you are probably reading this on your phone from airwaves brought to you by a fake tree that is actually a cell phone beaming station. That is crazy. Keep putting those pieces on:

OK, now you’re done, check it out. Nice work. At this point I would get out some glue and glue this baby down and then go and relax and watch an old movie or some sports. If you are feeling ambitious, get out some needle and thread and really lock this baby down with some stitching. Either way, have a Happy Thanksgiving!
